But that is because I like watches so they hold (personal) value. I have zero plans to ever get rid of them. I have a couple of “luxury watches” and I love them. Will the Porsche cost you more both upfront and over time? Definitely.Will someone who isn’t into cars notice the difference? Doubtful.Is the craftsmanship better in a Porsche than a Toyota? Yes.Will they both get you from Point A to Point B? Yes.Will a Toyota and Porsche both last 50 years? Yes.
