When Trainer Battles launch, Trainers will be able to practice battling against team leaders Spark, Candela and Blanche.-candela can bench press seven children amen Use your extra move to surprise opponents or cover your weaknesses. With an additional Charged Attack, Trainers have the opportunity to think strategically when approaching each battle. With the launch of Trainer Battles, Trainers will be able to permanently unlock one additional Charged Attack move for each Pokémon. While Trainers will usually have to be nearby in order to initiate a Trainer Battle, Ultra and Best Friends can challenge each other from any distance. If you don’t knock out all of your opponent’s Pokémon before a battle’s time limit is reached, the victor will be decided by whoever has the most KO’s. Each Trainer Battle requires Trainers to choose three Pokémon to battle with, so be strategic when selecting the Pokémon for your battle party. With Trainer Battles right around the corner, Niantic is giving you an even closer look at all the Trainer Battle features it previewed in its recent Trainer Battle blog-starting with the basics. You’ll also be working toward earning the Ace Trainer medal. If you’re looking to improve your Trainer Battle skills, take on team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche! You can earn daily rewards when training with a team leader, including Stardust to help power up your Pokémon. But you can challenge Trainers you’re Ultra Friends or Best Friends with from any distance. Your opponent will usually have to be nearby for you to initiate a Trainer Battle. But you only have a limited number of Protect Shields before your Pokémon will be left defenseless against big attacks. If you keep an eye on your opponent’s moves, you may be able to deploy a Protect Shield to save your Pokémon from taking critical damage. Battles aren’t just about who has the toughest Pokémon and the strongest moves. You’ll also be able to use Stardust and Candy prior to battle to unlock a bonus Charged Attack for your Pokémon. The fast-paced battles take place in real time, and your Pokémon will be able to use both their Fast Attack and Charged Attack moves. To make sure the battle is even, Trainers must compete in the same Trainer Battle League, which determines the highest CP permitted for the participating Pokémon.
When the match is over, both participants will receive great rewards, including a chance at rare Evolution items. With Trainer Battles, you can match up against another Trainer using a Battle Code, then face off using teams of three Pokémon. Soon you’ll be able to challenge another Trainer at any time in Pokémon GO.
